Pharmacotherapy
Anticancer drug therapy is sometimes used for systemic treatment of cancer.
Neoadjuvant and adjuvant chemotherapy is used to improve the cure rate and operability of operable cancers. In addition, for cancers that have spread to distant organs and are difficult to eradicate completely, anticancer drug therapy is used to suppress the disease progression while allowing the patient a longer time to recuperate.
NCCH is equipped with the necessary physician staff and care delivery systems to treat patients with the world’s newest drugs, including cytotoxic anticancer drugs, molecularly targeted drugs, and immunotherapy drugs such as immune checkpoint inhibitors, as well as to manage the adverse reactions of these drugs.
