ATLAS Asia Clinical Trials Network for Cancers Project

Three Key Initiatives of the ATLAS Project

The Asian Clinical Trials Network for Cancers Project (ATLAS Project) is an initiative led by the National Cancer Center Hospital to establish a regional clinical trial network for cancer across Asia. Launched in September 2020 with support from the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), ATLAS aims to accelerate international collaboration in the development of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
ATLAS is built upon three key initiatives:

  1. Clinical Trials:Conducting multinational clinical trials aimed at regulatory approval and practical implementation of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
  2. Educational Programs:Providing Asia-originated educational content through both online and onsite formats.
  3. ATLAS Board:Establishing a permanent international research group consisting of leading investigators from across Asia.
