Dr. Ayumu ARAKAWA’s Story

Dr. Ayumu Arakawa is the Chief of the Department of Pediatric Oncology at the National Cancer Center Hospital. He is actively engaged in the development of novel therapeutics for pediatric cancers in Japan and has led several physician-initiated clinical trials, as well as platform trials designed to improve early access to investigational agents for children with cancer. He is also involved in fostering international collaborations with research groups in Europe, the United States, and Asia in the field of pediatric oncology.
