私はMDアンダーソンがんセンター（米国テキサス州）と国立がん研究センターでの経験を通して、多くの国で多くのがん研究者や腫瘍学者と関わってきました。 がん研究を推進するためには、幅広い国際協力が不可欠だと思います。 がん治療は日々進歩しています。 私たちのチームは、アジアにおけるがん研究ネットワークの確立と促進に取り組み、アジアにおけるがん治療の改善に貢献します。

研究対象

国立がん研究センター中央病院に赴任してから、臨床試験やトランスレーショナルリサーチへ研究を拡大してきました。私は腫瘍内科でPhase2とPhase3の臨床試験に参加し、Phase1ユニットで初期の医薬品開発に参加しています。

現在、国立がん研究センター中央病院の国際開発部門においてトランスレーショナルリサーチ推進室長を務めており、がんゲノミクス研究に取り組んでいます。
