SEKIGUCHI Masau (関口　正宇) , MD, PhD

Dr. 関口 正宇’s Story

2006年に東京大学医学部を卒業し、2017年に博士号を取得しました。
2011年より国立がん研究センター中央病院に所属、現在、検診センター／内視鏡科の医員として診療と臨床研究に従事しています。
2021年には1年間、海外（スウェーデンのカロリンスカ研究所ダンデリード病院）で内視鏡診療・指導と臨床研究を行いました。
これまでに、アジアの医師・研究者と共同研究を行ってきた経験があり、Asia-Pacific consensus recommendations on colorectal cancer screening and postpolypectomy surveillance（Gut 2022; 71: 2152-66）にも作成委員として参加しています。アジアの医師・研究者とのつながりを活かし、今回、ATLASで新たに「人工知能によるコンピュータ検出支援を用いた大腸内視鏡検査の大腸がん検診における有効性評価：アジア多施設共同ランダム化比較試験」を進めていくこととなりました。アジアの大腸がん検診における内視鏡の質の向上に寄与するエビデンスの創出を目指します。
