Dr. Dao Van Tu’s Story

I am a medical oncologist and an academic researcher in oncology at the Vietnam National Cancer Institute and National Cancer Hospital. I obtained my medical degree, residency in medical oncology and clinical fellow in medical oncology at the Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi, Vietnam, and doctoral degree at Paris Sorbonne Cite University. My research focus on the use of biomarker in early detection, diagnostic and treatment of cancer, particularly breast cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer and brain metastases. I work as principle investigator in 3 international multi-site clinical trials and participate as investigator in many clinical and translational study projects.

Currently, I am Director of Cancer Research and Clinical Trials Center, and Head of Optimal Treatment Department, Vietnam National Cancer Hospital.
