I am a physician-scientist specializing in hematology and oncology at Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. My clinical and research work spans hematologic malignancies, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), and gastrointestinal cancers. As an ATLAS Board National Principal Investigator, I am committed to advancing Asia-wide collaborative clinical trials and translational research. My goal is to bridge molecular insights with clinical practice to develop biomarker-driven, patient-tailored treatment strategies that can improve outcomes for patients across Asia.
My primary research focuses on head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) and hematologic malignancies, with emphasis on early-phase clinical trials and translational oncology. I utilize multi-omics approaches—including genomic mutation signatures and tumor mutation burden analysis—to identify predictive biomarkers for treatment response in immunotherapy and chemoradiotherapy. I am also interested in tumor microenvironment characterization, chromatin remodeling, and immune-related signatures to improve patient stratification. Additionally, I actively participate in international collaborations to facilitate novel therapeutic strategies and precision medicine approaches for patients in Asia and globally.
