As a colorectal surgeon, I perform surgery for colorectal cancer patients at the National Cancer Center Hospital. In particular, I perform many minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery.
I have experience performing laparoscopic surgery in Asian countries other than Japan. I am certified as a proctor by the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery to perform robotic surgery, and I have experience in providing surgical guidance at many facilities in Japan. I am also actively involved in the development of new therapies and are working as the secretariat of the JCOG Colorectal Cancer Group.
