Dr Thitiya Dejthevaporn is Assistant Professor at the Medical Oncology Unit, Department of Internal Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, in Bangkok, Thailand. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (First Degree Honor) from the Mahidol University in 1991, and completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA.
Dr Dejthevaporn has special interest in breast cancer, GU cancer, brain tumor and palliative care. She has conducted clinical research in treatment of various malignancies including breast and lung cancer. She has also contributed to the development of National Practice Guidelines for breast, gastric and esophageal cancers with the National Health Security Office and National Cancer Institute. She is currently a vice president of the Thai Society of Clinical Oncology and Head of Medical Oncology Unit at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University.
