Dr. Tuan Anh Pham’s Story

I am a medical oncologist at National Cancer Hospital of Viet Nam ( K Hospital ).  I obtained my medical degree, residency in medical oncology and clinical fellowship in medical oncology at the Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi, Vietnam. I studied at National University Cancer Institute, Singapore and Northern Sydney Cancer Centre, in Sydney, Australia  as a clinical fellow. I also undertook clinical training course on medical oncology at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea and at National Cancer Center, Tokyo, Japan. 
I have been the co-investigator on a number of international clinical trials, especially on breast and lung cancer. I have served on cancer protocol committees for K Hospital, and co-authored some books, and written many articles in oncology as well. My achievements were recognized in 2013 when I received the IDEA ( International Development & Education Award) of ASCO.

Research Interest

I am very interested in research on the use of biomarkers in early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
