Welcome to the ATLAS Project website. With the ATLAS project, we are establishing a cancer clinical trial network throughout Asia.

The population of Asia is 60% of the world’s total. With a projection for further growth, cancer patients are expected to balloon here in Asia. The development of cancer treatments has been mainly driven by industry-sponsored trials led by Western countries, away from Asia. Some cancer types are only specifically observed in Asia. This drives us to propose establishing a robust clinical trial network linking partners across Asia.

The National Cancer Center has been conducting international clinical trials with South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. The ATLAS project will further expand this network to ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. We invite partners to join in driving the development of cancer treatment throughout Asia.

Through the ATLAS project, let us join forces to establish a robust clinical trial network of Asia, by Asia, for Asia.
