Origin of the name
The official name of this project is “Marker Assisted Selective ThErapy in Rare cancers: Knowledge database Establishing registrY”. The capitalized alphabets are connected and named MASTER KEY.
Origin of the logo
The logo of this project (red) is a fusion of the logo that resembles the key of the MASTER KEY project launched in Japan in 2018 (gold) and the motif of the “hand” that symbolizes the ATLAS project.
Mascot Characters
MASTER KEY Asia’s mascot characters are male and female twins born on the island of Master Key. Key-chan is the active, strong-willed elder sister, while Master-kun is the quiet, thoughtful younger brother, and together they embark on an adventure to solve the mystery of cancer.
