みなさんこんにちは。ATLASプロジェクトへようこそ。ATLASプロジェクトはアジア地域における恒常的ながん臨床試験ネットワークを構築するプロジェクトです。

臨床試験は、医師だけではなく、CRC、看護師、薬剤師、臨床検査技師、などの、多職種のスタッフによる「臨床試験チーム」で実施されます。 それぞれのスタッフが、専門性を生かし、臨床試験のさまざまなタスクを遂行するためには、臨床試験に関連するあらゆる知識のアップデートが不可欠です。

医学・医療における課題は、最先端の科学という面で全世界共通のテーマである一方、地域や国によって直面している課題は多様です。また、医薬品の開発、つまり治療に直結する臨床研究や臨床試験の実施件数においては、米国や欧州はアジアに比べて規模や数も多いため、アジアの医学・医療におけるプレゼンスは、人口が多い・経済規模が発展しているにも関わらず、未だ相対的に低い印象です。

Welcome to the ATLAS Project website. With the ATLAS project, we are establishing a cancer clinical trial network throughout Asia.

Clinical trials are conducted by clinical trial teams, not only by physicians, but by CRCs, nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory technicians each playing a specific role. We, all clinical trial team members need to have up-to-date knowledge of clinical trials to perform delegated tasks appropriately.

Challenge in medicine as science aspect is a universal challenge, whereas specific challenge varies depending on the region or country. Most clinical trials are based in Europe or United states, so there is limited influence of Asian countries despite its large population or drastic economic development.
